We are proud to announce that Dr. Anna Motos Galera (Barcelona) has been honored with the prestigious "Lección Joven" award at the National Congress of the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR), held from June 12–15, 2025, in Bilbao, Spain.

Dr. Motos delivered a keynote lecture in the basic science category titled:"From the Lab to the Clinic: An Integrated Vision of Nosocomial Pneumonia.

Her session focused on the development and implementation of innovative strategies for managing nosocomial pneumonia, highlighting the full translational pathway—from laboratory research and animal models to clinical studies. The lecture was especially aimed at early-career researchers in both basic and clinical science fields, fostering interdisciplinary approaches to tackling hospital-acquired infections.
