Dr. Viviane de Cássia Oliveira Wins Poster Presentation Award at Targeting Phage Therapy 2025.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Viviane de Cássia Oliveira, ARISTOS fellow, has received the "Poster Presentation Award 2025" at the 8th World Congress on Targeting Phage Therapy, held in Berlin, Germany.

Her award-winning study, titled "Evolution of ceftolozane/tazobactam resistance in carbapenem-resistant pseudomonas aeruginosa under phage-antibiotic pressure,"
addresses one of the most pressing issues in global health: antimicrobial resistance.

The research revealed that combining phages with antibiotics can delay the development of resistance to ceftolozane/tazobactam in pseudomonas aeruginosa.
