Dr. Enric Barbeta Viñas Receives SOCAP Grant for Promising Respiratory Study.

Dr. Enric Barbeta Viñas has been awarded the SOCAP Emerging Researcher Grant, receiving €12,000 to support his upcoming clinical study at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona. His project will explore the effects of two non-invasive breathing support methods — CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula — in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). The goal is to better understand which approach helps patients breathe more effectively and recover faster.
