Graduated in Biology and holding a Master in Translational Medicine from the University of Barcelona (UB), she is part of the research team since July 2021. In February 2023 she enrolled in the PhD program for her thesis in the research line of alternative treatment and prevention strategies to antibiotics (phage therapy and genetically modified bacteria) in the context of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP). In the laboratory she is mainly in charge of performing molecular techniques for DNA/RNA extraction and sequencing of both human and porcine animal model samples for the further development of genomics and transcriptomics studies. She also collaborates in other animal model projects both in the context of VAP and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) as support in the processing of microbiology samples.
