Her domains of specialization are Biofilms, Infection Control, Microbiology and Molecular Biology, namely on understanding biofilm growth mechanisms and action of bacteriophages in order to face Healthcare-Associated Infections. As a biologist, she is deeply interested in the study of endotracheal tube associated-biofilm. During her study stay, she is investigating whether phage-therapy could remove biofilm on the surface of ex vivo endotracheal tubes
