IAMR group incorporates a postdoctoral physician to work on endotoxemia pneumonia-correlated applied to animal model
This postdoctoral fellow comes from the University of Modena (Italy) to get experience in experimental research in the animal model
The latest incorporation at the research group is Ernesto Crisafulli, who is a postdoctoral researcher in Respiratory Physiopathology at University of Parma (Italy). His role in our group will consist in the evaluation of an experimental research for sepsis due to severe pneumonia.
Ernesto was born 37 years ago in Messina (Italy). Once he finished the Degree in Medicine, he achieved the specialization in Respiratory Medicine and then he did the PhD in experimental Respiratory Physiopathology. He published several clinical original articles in the management and treatment of acute and chronic respiratory disease. Recently he decided to acquire experience in experimental research, specifically in the animal model, and, granted with a short term European Respiratory Society (ERS) Fellowship, he achieved a permission to go abroad for 3 months.
