Talitha Comaru joins the group
She will evaluate the efficacy and safety of manual and ventilator hyperinflation
The latest incorporation at the research group is Talitha Comaru, who is a postdoctoral researcher of National Counsel of Technological and Scientific Development - CNPq (Brazil). Her role in our group will consist of the evaluation of an experimental research to evaluate efficacy and safety of manual and ventilator hyperinflation.
Talitha was born in Porto Alegre (Brazil) and is professor at Institute of Education and Research of Hospital Moinhos de Vento in Porto Alegre. She is graduate in Physiotherapy, specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy, master in Pediatrics and recently she completed the phD in Pediatrics and Child Health at Pontifícal Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). She has published some clinical original articles on treatment of neonates in developmental care and respiratory care. Recently she began to work on experimental research, in order to evaluate physiotherapy techniques in an animal model. She was granted with a long term CNPq fellowship, to go abroad for 12 months.
